"Has the FA got the Richarlison ban right?"
Anthony Kendrick is joined for this week's episode of the v2 football podcast by Peter Prickett and Richard 'Hero' Hudson.
We start tonight's show by discussing the Champions League. English sides have gone fifteen games without defeat and in each case top their groups. This is despite playing the likes of Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli and Sevilla. Which English side has the best hope of winning the Champions League?
We move on to discuss the big stories in the Premier League, beginning with an exceptional performance from Kevin de Bruyne as Manchester City scored seven. This contrasts with a very dull goalless result for Manchester United at Anfield. We move to discuss the overachievers in Watford, with controversies surrounding Troy Deeney and Richarlison, and Burnley, who have flourished this season under Sean Dyche. We discuss who might take the Leicester job now that Craig Shakespeare has been sacked.
We finish the show by discussing the proposals from the FA regarding the Manchester Junior League. There has been discussion on twitter regarding the new rule suggestions, which include that all squad players must play in all positions, spectators and coaches to not shout instructions at players and mixed ability teams.
