The 72 Show - Episode 2.29 (with various guests)
Anthony Kendrick and Nick Davie present the final episode of The 72 Show - Season Two. Rather than being joined by a guest, we get various fan opinions from @FRFutbolDanny, @M_Roper96, @DMWHITESIDE04, @AshleyCalver1, @oinwards, @NatLD182, @LQD_Football, @GeorgeDidcote19.
This show includes Playoff discussions, with Huddersfield, Millwall and Blackpool all coming out as winners. We discuss the pitch invasion at Millwall and the poor turnout of Blackpool fans in the League Two playoff final, as well as giving praise to those managers involved, especially in the case of Huddersfield who have had a fairytale season.
We also look at some of the managerial changes, with Paul Lambert replaced by Nuno Santo at Wolves, and the news that Garry Monk and Luke Williams have left Leeds and Swansea respectively. Wigan have made what looks to be an astute appointment in Paul Cook, who leaves Portsmouth. Leyton Orient are also discussed, with Omer Riza unsure if he will be in charge next season.
We then finish by announcing the winners of The 72 Show Awards, and I also want to say a massive thanks to those who have appeared on the 72 Show this season. They are Russ Milton, Rhodri Giggs, Shane Lees, Matty Roper, Andy Couzens, Gary Alexander, Matt Hamshaw, Danny (Liquid Football), Barry Hayles, Ashley Carter (ShaunBarkerDoc), Jason Jarrett, Craig Hinton, Roger Eli, Paul Parker, Omer Riza, George Didcote, Nick Tanner, Richard Foster, Ronnie Moore and to Richard 'Hero' Hudson for hosting an episode when I was absent.
Thank you for listening!
