The 72 Show - March 2018 (with Andy Clark)
Anthony Kendrick and Nick Davie return for the March edition of the 72 show. We are joined by Sunderland fan Andy Clark
We discuss Sunderland's poor form and whether they can get out of the relegation zone, with the club currently at the foot of the table. Is Chris Coleman the right man for the job? We look at the appointments of Garry Monk and Jose Morias at Birmingham and Barnsley respectively.
At the top of the Championship sit Wolves. We discuss the concerns raised by other clubs regarding their relationship with Jorge Mendes, as well as their spending power. We also look at the chasing pack, which includes Neil Warnock's Cardiff City, Aston Villa and a Fulham side which have gone 15 games unbeaten.
In League One we discuss the three horse promotion race involving Blackburn, Wigan and surprise contenders Shrewsbury. We look at in-form Plymouth, who sit just outside the playoffs, as well as Peterborough who have brought in the experienced Steve Evans as their new manager. There have also been managerial changes further down the table, with John Sheridan replacing Uwe Rosler as Fleetwood boss and Jon Whitney sacked at Walsall.
In League Two, Accrington's impressive run of form has seen them usurp Luton as the side at the top of the table. We discuss the extremely tight playoff race behind including the appointments of David Flitcroft and Phil Brown at Mansfield and Swindon respectively. At the bottom of the table sit Barnet and Chesterfield, six points adrift. Is there a relegation battle, or are these two sides doomed?
